to some i go by birddog – a maturing mutt with the paws of a pup – i am not a dog though i am rather loyal – my folks called my garry at birth – i am 33 in years and only know one younger who shares my name – the last of the garrys are we – there are very few of us – fewer with the double ‘r’ – kingston ontario is where i live – my castle is an older model with pine floors and a furnace is serious need of replacing – a challenge i will face sooner than i’d like – my queen is a young lady of clan shivner – eleanor the beautiful is our wee princess – oliver the wide-one is our prince – fatherhood looks good on me – i am a biologist by education – i have earned a living at iawah – summer camp coordinator and professional idiot baller – presently i find myself as a leader in the community called next – i put the ass in passtor – i enjoy the bbq though my skills are still in development – i love the sports – hice ockey in winter, ultimate in all seasons – my knees are failing me and spend more time on the couch than is appropriate – i like to read – i also like to write – this blog is my wastepaper basket piled high with crumpled thoughts and fragments of life
